we had a great trip to Sydney , as you can see we loved the  architecture.






one of the few cathedrals we went to visit.




spent a fair bit of time walking around the warfts and bases of the bridge,  with teh original stones on everything.

we took a lot of ferry boats around the harbor and obviously teh outside of the opera house.

a very cool old set of stairs in the ciry






the city has been able to dig up some old remains of some of the first houses built. and build stairs and platforms thought it so everyone can explore.





Luna park, they weren't open unfortunately the days we were there.

the huge yachts are cool, but the 12 barracks behind them were also, they had been turned into upscale restaurants and offices up top

i was fascinated with the swirled rough stones




they do tours up the top of the bridge for people to climb on the top out to teh middle
















the hostel where we stayed, had a nice private room with a kitchenette and private bath, something big for a hostel

we went through the house/ prison bunks/ grounds, not actual a prison. with not actual bunks but hammocks.  and learned some if its history. this was a guard house at the front of the grounds.
cool old trees. this below was the ontrance of teh first hospital, Rum hospital.
