2014 Sees us traveling around Australia. Our first adventure (after all the flights!) was a 3.5 day visit to Tidal River on Wilson's Promontory, a popular vacationing spot on the south coast of Victoria:

We stayed in one of the furnished lodges rather than tent camping on this first trip, we'll get the kids used to it slowly.
They loved playing on the beach and exploring the area, lots of sand castles and wading.
Dave, Peter, and Thomas rode motorcycles down from Dave's parent's house (about a 3.5hr ride) Amy, Sarah, Debbie, and the kids drove down.

The days started out a bit overcast but quickly cleared up to clear blue skies and comfortable temps.
